Last month, we marked a significant milestone for our PURA community in Central Surrey by hosting the “PURA Flying CLT Panel Event”. This occasion was not just a celebration of sustainable construction; it was a gathering that exemplified our commitment to building a better future for our community.

The event kicked off with the ceremonial signing of the Kalesnikoff CLT (Cross-laminated Timber) Panel, symbolizing our dedication to sustainable building practices at PURA. This innovative method of construction utilizing Mass Timber is not only eco-friendly but also enhances the overall quality of our communities. Our team shared insights on the numerous benefits of Mass Timber, emphasizing its positive impact on the environment and its role in reducing our carbon footprint!

We were honored to welcome Councillor Linda Annis, who shared her valuable insights on the importance of this groundbreaking project. Her support highlights our mission to create a sustainable community that prioritizes both innovation and environmental responsibility.

One of the most rewarding moments of the day was presenting a donation cheque for $10,000 to Surrey Memorial Hospital. This contribution will support their ongoing efforts to provide exceptional healthcare services to the community, and we are proud to play a part in giving back to those who need it most.

A heartfelt thank you to all the attendees and our Adera family for celebrating this achievement with us. Together, we are building a sustainable community that cares for both its environment and its people!

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our journey towards creating Buildings for Better Lives!
