The grand opening of Virtuoso, a new condo development at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, is scheduled for April 30th from 12pm to 5pm, and developer Adera is expecting a quick sell out.

Currently in pre-construction, Virtuoso is Adera’s 10th project at UBC, and is located within the university’s intimate Wesbrook Village community. The 106-unit building is just steps from the lush greenery of Pacific Spirit Regional Park, as well as modern amenities including grocery stores, restaurants and a new community centre.

Virtuoso’s natural surroundings are reflected in its thoughtful design by Rositch Hemphill Architects. The building is being constructed with materials such as cedar and brick, and will house a private courtyard with a garden, waterfall and gazebo in addition to a protected lobby with a shallow water component.

Interiors feature efficient layouts, clean lines and three colour palettes by Area3 Design. Highlights include sleek kitchen cabinetry with two finish options, quartz slab kitchen and bathroom countertops and energy-efficient appliances throughout.

Adera is offering two promotions to those who purchase homes early. Buy before May 2nd and receive up to 2 per cent off the purchase price of your home — valued at up to $30,000 — as well as a free KitchenAid black stainless steel upgrade package. And if you buy on April 30th you’ll also be entered to win $3,000 worth of custom upgrades.

Virtuoso has already generated enormous interest, and Adera recommends showing up early to the April 30th grand opening to avoid disappointment. The event will be held at Virtuoso’s presentation centre, located at 118-6033 Gray Avenue, Vancouver.
