Virtuoso, a new condo development at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, is selling out fast, as only two suites remain. The project features quiet home technology and a central zen garden. For the final two residences, Adera is offering a $25,000 realtor bonus incentive.

As Adera’s 10th building in UBC, Virtuoso is making history as the first market multi-family project using mass timber technology. Recognized for its expertise in wood construction, Adera has thoughtfully-designed Virtuoso using luxury wood construction in the form of cross-laminated timber panels. The modern West Coast building boasts a total of 106 units, ranging from 830 square feet to 1,607 square feet. Offering up to 850 square feet of private outdoor space for residents to enjoy, Virtuoso features a central zen garden, along with expansive rooftop lanais that provides stunning views of Pacific Spirit Regional Park.

With a passion for sustainability and architectural quality, Adera was recognized by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association at the 2017 National Awards for Housing Excellence. The Vancouver-based developer won the Design Excellence Award for the best builder in the new home category.

Virtuoso provides an eco-friendly advantage with the use of mass timber. Outperforming concrete in seismic conditions, the wood panels are a renewable building resource that provide fire resistance. Luxury wood construction also mitigates sound between attached homes, aligning with Adera’s Quiet Home technology initiative.
