Featuring local artist Deb Chaney
Adera is thrilled to support placemaking in the North Vancouver community through investing in public art and park space with the completion of our public dog park.
Adera has invested in the refurbishment and reinstallation of a Grizzly statue on Central Lonsdale, adjacent to Crest, by Vancouver Sculptor, Ken Clarke. This art installation reminds us that these bears are one of the extraordinary wildlife species found in British Columbia.
Also at Crest, local artist Deb Chaney has designed a truly international art piece, which was installed in a series of large hand-painted tiles produced in Portugal by Viuva Lamego, a company with a rich history going back over 170 years! The design of the art was inspired by play, creative joy and the nature that surrounds North Vancouver. Check out our video below, featuring local artist Deb Chaney in North Vancouver’s Public Art Program at Crest.
